Theme: “Towards Sustainable Schools in Singapore”
GreenCon 2019 is a one-day conference, where senior members of secondary school eco clubs come together to learn and grow. The conference features 3 sections: Share, Learn, Act. Through “Share”, participants share about their own schools through an exhibition, before breaking out into smaller groups to further analyse shared problems they face in environmental efforts. In the “Learn” segment, participants are invited to be inspired by their peers and seniors alike through Workshops and a Human Library. Finally, participants regroup as a school during “Act” to develop an action plan for the upcoming term.
